Welcome to Terry Ann Studio

Terry Ann Studio is the home of the well established South African artist, Terry Ann Kalinko.

She is a versatile fine art painter who paints oil on canvas. Genres include, inter alia, Portraits, Land and Seascapes, Still Life and Religious. Each art piece is uniquely paragon and tells its own story.

The subject matter is not the issue, but merely an instrument with which she expresses herself in colour, shape, and texture. The technique is all important and never compromised.

There is no hidden agenda, Terry Ann loves to paint. Her work carriers a reflection of her love for life, the creation and our Creator and she marvels at the order of the world. “Did you ever see the sun not herald the day, or moon her nightly watch in the sky? “

Terry Ann is also a writer. She writes poetry and is now publishing her debut children’s Picture Book, ‘Berry Merry Catfish –  A Tale of a Magical Calico Cat,’ a curious blend of truth and fantasy.

“I really enjoyed this book’s exciting journey where I express my sense of humour in colour, paint and words……yet create a poignant multi – layered book, introducing the loveable, defiant protagonist Berry Merry Catfish who has an appetite for life and food.”

Both children and adults will love this book. It is a treasure trove of paintings, oil and mixed media on canvas. A story where prayers are answered and wishes and dreams do come true.
